So we took a little afternoon trip out to Muir Woods, so Meg and Mater could experience the excellence of our new rig.
Here's a not-so-quick, quick walking tour of some of the features.
I'm still working on a summary of the trip to pick it up, and the 916 mile return trip, but in short, it was amazing. No mechanical problems what so ever. Ran like a top the whole way. Needless to say, we're in love.
Love it! Great details and originality there - that picnic set - was that a Greenbriar item? Very cool, enjoy the camping!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was newly married in 1974, we had a Greebrier van (silverish green) and drove it camping all over Oregon. We even slid onto its side at Green Peter Dam while backing out when the shoulder gave way on the road- 1st day of vacation! Clever tow truck operater winched it out with only a broken side mirror. My previous car was a VW Micro-bus w/sunroof and port windows. But the greenbrier was sooo much better and much faster. Never found another one as good- yours looks outstanding and such a treasure of memories to build on. Congratulations!! Jeff still in Ptl'd living in a floating home at Jantzen Beach!!
